</div>
I love Washi Tapes. They are so cool, colourful and really fun to have. But then, they can be quite pricey especially if you are living in Malaysia. Craft items are quite hard to comeby and pricey too.<br />
<br />
Anyhows, I've decided to make some of my own and wanted to share with everyone how easy it is to make your own.<br />
<br />
<u><b>All you need:</b></u><br />
<br />
Masking tape (All sorts of width - More fun to play with! :))<br />
Sharpie pens<br />
Pigment Ink pens (Any brands)<br />
Greaseproof paper<br />
<br />
1. Tape the Masking tapes onto the greaseproof paper<br />
<br />
2. Draw whichever pattern you wish. Whether its doodles/ zentangle/ anything!<br />
<br />
3. Tadah! There you go... you own made Washi Tape!<br />
<br />
<br />
There are many ways where you can make your washi tapes. You can rubber stamp them, print on them...the ideas are endless!<br />
<br />
Here's what I did.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />

Also, as you know, in Malaysia.... every Saturdays at the malls are "No Plastic Bags day". I think its pretty neat. They should consider doing it on a long term basis :)<br />
<br />
Anyhow, this is very easy and simple. You can make loads and loads and even make them as gifts (Christmas is coming! *Hint! Hint*). So yea, here are my step-by-steps in making them:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Infact, on a contrary...I am repurposing them! :)<br />
<br />
If you are like me, I have books (loads of them) lying around and I just didn't want to give them away - especially those Enid Blyton hard covers! They are useful for my crafts :)<br />
<br />
So, here is what I did:<br />
<br />
First, take a book (hardcover would be best)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSwJo6ZiGoxj-e3k4_uPOi2JSg_eBWGZfZtmIraEPEl8YgpVQnCzbF20yj-4He8MY28cbFo4fck7D8rYNl1ULIa7ohH1ggln5AGBydlpmnwXSRczQnGygbV2c7Y2apfgooeVcA8hx5s9tb/s1600/DSC00428.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSwJo6ZiGoxj-e3k4_uPOi2JSg_eBWGZfZtmIraEPEl8YgpVQnCzbF20yj-4He8MY28cbFo4fck7D8rYNl1ULIa7ohH1ggln5AGBydlpmnwXSRczQnGygbV2c7Y2apfgooeVcA8hx5s9tb/s320/DSC00428.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Tear Pages and leave about a 1/4.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhodq0y39AsEnK26ATuLE2nlLNPFFp4jH38zMJ3aB2axaajHit1wiboZ0Wmu3qdVUQan2TPMU2wvxZSRWkCiUvki20-2ecP2Rhyphenhyphenxe_cbmZmGvio2uf7D6Yof8a81TnGqvWjWRtostu7GiFg/s1600/DSC00429.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhodq0y39AsEnK26ATuLE2nlLNPFFp4jH38zMJ3aB2axaajHit1wiboZ0Wmu3qdVUQan2TPMU2wvxZSRWkCiUvki20-2ecP2Rhyphenhyphenxe_cbmZmGvio2uf7D6Yof8a81TnGqvWjWRtostu7GiFg/s320/DSC00429.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Glue pages. Leave it to dry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
